Gifford recognises the benefits for students of putting their theoretical knowledge into practice. We offer a limited number of Work Placements within various Disciplines and UK offices; usually between 10 and 12 weeks in duration over the summer holidays.
Our hope is that this opportunity will enable you to put your core course themes into practice and relate your thesis and dissertation subjects to current Gifford projects.
Get to know what it’s like to work for a leading engineering consultancy, become a fully integrated member of the team and hopefully develop a working relationship that will continue throughout your degree.
Applications can be submitted from 1st September 2009 however shortlisting will not be taking place until January 2010. Candidates who are not shortlisted for our future placement programme will be emailed in February 2010, wheras successful shortlisted candidates will receive an update on recruitment and selection plans in March 2010.
